Italian supercar manufacturer Pagani Automobili S.p.A. announced New arrival of its that the Huayra supercar allows enthusiasts the opportunity to obtain a Pagani automobile in the U.S. for the first time.
To date, five prototypes have been built on which Pagani has been conducting road tests for the past four years. Currently, more than 300,000 miles have been covered by these prototypes and testing will reach approximately 600,000 miles before entering the U.S. market. The car complies with the strictest European and American standards in terms of safety and pollution regulations.
The Huayra, which boasts a revolutionary design, state-of-the-art mechanics and 700 horsepower, is designed with aerodynamics of a wing in mind and considered to be the lightest sportscar in its class with an AMG-sourced 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine doling out 700 bhp (522 kW / 710 PS) and 1000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque. That power plant is coupled to an XTRAC seven-speed sequential transmission of just 96 kg (212 lbs) mounted transversely behind the engine. The 0-100 km/h sprint takes 3.3 seconds and top speed is 370 km/h (230 mph).
