Toyota Prius C Concept called Aqua in Japan

Toyota launched the Prius Concept C in Japan in January 2012, using the name Aqua, according to the Nikkei news outlet.

The 2011 Toyota Prius is rated at 32 km / l (76.7 mpg U.S.) on Japanese JC08 test cycle, but rated at 51 mpg city, 48 mpg highway in the U.S. in Aqua, Toyota will target prices ranging from ¥ 1,700,000 (U.S. $ 22,236 at current exchange rates) for the Aqua. We expect to see the Prius C sports at the same price for the conventional Prius when it arrives in America.
