Jeep unveils Ferrari-themed Grand Cherokee SRT8 for Alonso & Massa

Jeep has custom-built versions of the high-performance Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 feature exclusive and additional Ferrari looks pay tribute to the two Ferrari ‘ambassadors’ for Formula 1 stars Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa at the Fiorano circuit in Maranello, Italy.

2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 models to be delivered in Europe where the introduction of the high-performance model of the Jeep flagship SUV will start in May. Both vehicles were prepared by Chrysler Group’s Street and Racing Technology (SRT) design and engineering teams.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 is powered by a 6.4-liter HEMI V8 engine with 468 PS (344 kW / 462 hp) and 624 Nm (460 lb-ft) of torque. It enables the model to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in five second and hit a top speed of 257 km/h (160 mph).
